Yet another television show is going to made into a movie (aren't you agast and agog?).
This time, it's "I Dream of Jeannie", a TV show that I absolutely adore!! You can catch it on TVLand (Digital Cable, fer shur).
Word on the street is the part of Jeannie is either going to go to Lindsay Lohan or Kate Hudson. I think they ought to get in a ring and ultimate fight for it. Somebody needs to put their damn foot on L2's head before it gets any damn bigger. Maybe Kate could use her super sharp stiletto heel to pop one of Lindsay's boobs! Anyhoo, I just want to say I think both of them are wrong for the part. I do like Katie however, I think Jeannie should be played by Jessica Simpson. Now, don't stone me to death just yet. I know what yer thinkin'. But, having (reluctantly yet religiously) watched "Newlyweds", Jessica has just that right amount of bubble-headedness mixed with genuine caring that I think is crucial to portraying Jeannie. She's prettier than those other two heiffers, anyway (and at the end of the day, isn't that all that matters?).
Please note. I don't really like Jessica Simpson but she has that whole "I'm stupid? Really? Are you sure?" quality that is quite, upon closer inspection, endearing.
Now - who should play major Tony Nelson? I love to watch Larry Hagman play him and then watch Larry Hagman play JR on "Dallas". I jump up and down in my bed and howl as I eat Boston Baked Beans! I love Boston Baked Beans! I love Larry Hagman (but I wouldn't eat sushi off of him)!

Josh Hartnett. . .he was bred for romantic comedies (and to have sushi eaten off of him). He'd be a good straight man. Notice how much he looks like Tommy Lee Jones? Hmmmm. . .
